All in all the plot of this story is a decent one. Charlotte’s parents and little brother die in a car accident, on the way to an event for Charlotte. The emotion of the story was very well written.

I think it was a good book, it could have just used some adjustments is all. I really enjoyed the bond that her and Jacob shared though. Even when they “hated” each other, they still cared for each other so much. 

There were a few things that bothered me about this story. 

• I love alternate viewpoints, when they are labeled correctly,which this one was. However, I’m not a fan of how when it would jump to the other characters point of view, it’s like we are restarting an entire chapter, then being brought back to the present. Not a fan of that. I loved the childhood flashbacks though. 
• Please for the love of all that is holy, pick ONE nickname for a character to call another character. We jumped from her name Charlotte, to Charlie, to Charms. All by the same character. It got to be a bit much. It seemed like the author made a long list of names, and instead of narrowing it down, said “well let’s just use them all!” 
• The plot “secret”? Yeah, I guessed that by the 2nd chapter.

If you love mythology, I highly recommend this book for you! This book takes a completely new type of twist on Hades and Persephone’s story. In this book you read many things relating to Greek mythology, however Elda Lore(L.B Dunbar) has made sure to add a new spin to the story.

Grasping Air: Review

Grasping Air did NOT disappoint. I LOVE gymnastics, so whenever I see a book about it I grab it and RUN! 

Peyton Adams is a stubborn, smartass, and I LOVE her character. Underneath all the smartass comments, is a girl who just wants to be loved, but doesn’t know how to show it.  

Jared Hargrove is a control freak. The fact that he can’t control Peyton drives him nuts. He refuses to make the first move but can’t help the feelings he has.

I loved this book. The dynamic of the characters was wonderful. The beauty of the sport and feeling they have while doing it is beautiful. I can’t wait to read the next book Aarons writes.

I really enjoyed this book once I got into the nitty gritty of it. Kathleen is wonderful at her job, relationships she could use some work. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone who likes a complicated love story. It’s a story about love, work, and family. Trying to balance them all can be hard. 

The writing of this story was simply beautiful.

Dana Black is a realtor, and she’s ready for a new lease on life.
Dana loves to use her empty listings to meet her kinky counterpart. BDSM is her way of life, and being a realtor just helps ensure she can continue that. When someone starts to murder realtors in the area, and Dana has no albi because of being otherwise “indisposed”, she takes the investigation into her own hands. Having a hot detective help her, well that’s not too bad either. 
I really enjoyed this book. It left me guessing till the very end. You never quite know what’s going to happen next, and that’s exhilarating. I can’t wait to see what this author can come up with next, because this book left me wanting more.

It Ends With Us: Review

Where do I even begin to describe the amazing, heart wrenching ride this book took me on. 

I had never read a Colleen Hoover book before. But I heard a lot about her books and so I decided to join her Facebook group in order to have help deciding which of her books should be my first. Well, I actually won a signed copy from another fan of It Ends With Us. I didn’t get a chance to read it right away, but before work one day I saw it on the shelf and grabbed it.

 BIG MISTAKE. This is NOT the book you want to read at work. It had me crying like a big baby and yelling at it. Even though my coworker now think I’m crazy, I will admit it was worth it. 

This book is amazing. Like, rip your heart out of your chest, stomp on it, stab it with some knives, light it on fire, sew it back together, type of Amazing! 

I have now put every single book my library has to offer on hold so I can read everything she’s written. The words she writes just transports you to different times in your life that help you relate so much to the book. 

I applaud her(and her mother) for this story. 

Harley and Rose: Review

This book left me in pieces! I’m not even kidding! By the end of this book I feel like the very last page took a piece of my heart with it. This story is so incredibly beautiful and well written. The story just sucked me and didn’t want to let me go. This was my first book by Carmen Jenner and I now need more from her. 
I love so many books, but few get such an immediate reaction from me. I laughed and cried so much my throats and heart was raw by the end. I highly recommend this book to anyone who wants a good laugh and an ugly cry.

Well, Cat Mason has done it again. She’s thrown me into a world of another rockstar and had me panting for more. 

Bristol is one kickass chick! She knows exactly what she likes and doesn’t like, and she’s not afraid to let you know it. Tage is drool worthy for sure. He puts his all into everything he does,including love. These two are so strongwilled and stubborn, that it’s a wonder how they get anywhere at all. But that’s the thrill of it. The will they or won’t they. And I love a good thrill ride. 

I can not wait until the next book comes out. I’m dying to know what happens next to this little band of misfits. I highly recommend jumping on the rockstar bandwagon, because it’s a ride you don’t want to miss. 

Twisted Palace: Review

When you think you can’t get anymore ruined, the Royals come back around. 
This book was no joke! Talk about a Twisted Palace. The twists and turns of this book was INSANE (in the membrane, because I’m a child and can’t ever not say that after saying that word).
This book starts off by just throwing you in the deep end of crazy. There is no wading slowly into the waters. No dipping your toes to check the temperature. Oh no not for this book. This book makes sure that you have small little heart attacks the entire time starting right at page one. 
This book took my brain, spun it around in a tilt-a-whirl for 3 hours and then told me to get off the ride…. omg I’m still reeling! What an amazing book! The way it was written was just truly magnificent. It had me thinking I knew what was going to happen, then doubting myself, then knowing I was right, to then just being like OMG I need more!
This book gave me everything I hoped for, wrapped in a beautifully Royal bow. I can’t wait to see what Erin Watt comes up with next. Keep your eyes peeled for this writing duo, because they have one goal in mind, and that is to ruin you Royally.
